Gold Medal for Craft, Eisteddfod, Pontypridd 2024

Last Saturday, I was absolutely delighted to receive the Gold Medal for Craft at this year’s Eisteddfod in Pontypridd for a selection of works from the Woven / Unwoven exhibition. You can see my work alongside the other winners and selected artists at the Y Lle Celf exhibition at the festival until the 10th of August. The Eisteddfod is Europe’s largest cultural festival, with over 150,000 visitors expected over the week. It’s a complete privilege to not only be selected to show but to win the award is an incredible honour. Many thanks to the selectors, and to Mererid Velios, the curator of the show.
