Blanket Coverage, Bonhoga Gallery, Shetland Arts

After a successful autumn run at Oriel Davies, Blanket Coverage continues its tour to the Shetland Arts Bonhoga Gallery. It opens on Saturday 21 January and continues until the 13th March.

This was a recent curation project for Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre, supported by The Ashley Family Foundation. Its initial showing at LGAC was severely impacted by the pandemic lockdowns, so it’s just been wonderful to see it reach a bigger audience by touring.

Exhibiting artists touring from LGAC - Angie Parker, Beatrice Larkin, Catarina Riccabona, Eleanor Pritchard, Laura Thomas, Llio James, Margo Selby, Maria Sigma, Meghan Spielman, Melvin Tregwynt, Sioni Rhys Handweavers and Wallace Sewell.

The Shetland exhibition also includes work by local weavers: Deborah Briggs, Emma Geddes of Aamos Designs and The Shetland Tweed Company.
